How this calculator works
Volume of one member = length × width × height (all converted to metres)
Total volume = volume of one member × quantity × (1 + wastage ÷ 100)
Results are shown in m³, ft³ and yd³.
Assumptions and limits
- All shapes are treated as rectangular prisms. Tapered footings, haunches, openings and reinforcement volume are not deducted.
- Add a wastage percentage if you want an allowance for spillage and levelling.
