Electricity Bill Estimator
Enter your consumption and the tariff printed on your bill. Nothing is pre-filled, because tariffs differ by provider, category and date.
Your result will appear here after you press Calculate.
How this calculator works
Flat tariff: energy charges = units × rate per unit
Slab tariff: for each slab, units falling inside the slab × that slab’s rate, then added up
Additional charges = fixed charge + other charges + tax/duty % × energy charges
Total = energy charges + additional charges
Assumptions and limits
- You must enter the tariff yourself. This tool does not contain or verify any provider’s official rates.
- Slabs are applied in the order entered. “Up to (units)” is the cumulative upper limit of each slab; leave it empty on the last slab for all remaining units.
- The estimate will not match an official bill exactly because rules, rebates, surcharges and billing periods differ.
This tool gives an approximate estimate from the values you enter. It is not a substitute for professional engineering design, site inspection, official quotations or applicable building regulations. See the calculator disclaimer.
