How this calculator works
Total area = built-up area per floor × number of floors (converted to sq ft)
Base cost = total area × cost per sq ft
Estimated total = base cost × (1 + location adjustment ÷ 100)
Category cost = estimated total × category share ÷ 100
Assumptions and limits
- The cost per sq ft values offered for each quality level are sample starting values only. Replace them with rates from your own area and contractor.
- The default category shares are an editable example split, not a standard.
- Land, approvals, furniture, interior fit-outs, taxes and price escalation are not included unless you add them.
